Went there for an event in December. Fabulous venue, really friendly staff. Great atmosphere and lovely food. Was pretty busy too for a Wednesday.

My parents and family always called this put the Drum and Monkey. I beleive that was it’s original name.

Used to drink the odd pint there in the late sixties when Jack Symons ran it, what a good pint he produced and no argy bargy or you were out and banned.

the foodis not very nice at all wen asked to speak to the manager she was very rude told me to go somewhere else if i didnt like it go somewhere else she refused to refund me i have told many friend about this as i will never go there again

The Wednesday night Irish/Northumbrian musicians session is generally good
