About
Bevpub was the idea of Ken and Maureen Lussey who created the first website nearly 10 years ago. When Ken and Maureen moved out of East Yorkshire, we volunteered to keep the site going. Since then, we have updated it to php database and have made leaving comments easier.
In the last few years, visitors to the site from Australia, the United States and Canada have contacted usĀ about visits to Beverley or ancestors who lived here many years ago.
During the annual summer Folk Festival, many visitors to te town use the site to plan their weekends refreshments and many people have contacted us asking for recommendations for places to stay.
What ever the reason for your visit to the site, and however you found us…we hope you find the information here useful.

it would be useful to know if these pubs provide access for disabled as a lot of places are still lacking in this area and especially for electric wheelchairs which cannot be tipped up a step so then cannot enter the premises
thanks

Hey guys, you don’t seem to have a review of Lady Le Gros, or am I missing something? That place definitely needs a review! Also I was thinking (just a suggestion) that it would be really cool to put a bit about the history of each of the pubs up on the site e.g. the buildings, how long they’ve been there and what they were built for. Maybe any interesting ghost stories linked to them too? Just an idea, as Beverley is such a historical town. Keep up the good work, I love the site!
