If you had to define a “typical” Beverley pub you’d start by describing something long and thin running back from the main street; and probably bordered on one side by an alley.

This describes the Windmill perfectly: though as it’s the other end of the alley that emerges onto one of Beverley’s main shopping streets, its not as easy to find as some.

Inside you find a recently renovated interior with TV showing sporting events. There is also a small seating area in the street outside.
