The Beaver is a long and narrow, friendly, locals’ pub with its bar area towards the front and an eating area (which doubles as a pool and darts area when food is not being served) at the back.The darts tradition is amply demonstrated by the large collection of trophies on display.

A dancefloor has recently been created at the back of the pub and usually very popular at the weekend. Sporting events are shown during the week on a large screen in the same room.
